Hi! This is Luke Foster, a Certified Flight instructor, EASA approved and licensed contract instructor working in the greater Phoenix, AZ valley with operations out of Phoenix Goodyear Airport. My experience ranges from scheduled flight operations and flight training, verification of student prerequisites and training agendas, operations of aircraft on day to day basis and procedures and company policy throughout the working days. My personal best qualities are strict adherence to company policy and regulations, as well as Federal regulations. I have a great training record for myself as a pilot, but also as a flight instructor working for two different companies in the past 3 years with very different operations. Flight hours and experience range from primarily Cirrus SR20 series and Cessna 172/182/150, with occasional flights from Diamond DA42, Piper Seminole and Piper Cherokee.

Some Bachelors Degree Work August 16, 2021 - May 9, 2022 First year course work completed for the Aeronautical Management Technologies / Professional Flight program. As a student with ASU, as well as a student pilot in training at the Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport at ATP flight school, I was charged with two tasks of being a student in the goal of becoming a Restricted ATP pilot upon completion of my 1,000 hours and graduation from the college. I passed first year course work with a 3.5 GPA, and ultimately left due to a new flying opportunity that prevented me from completing the degree. I am looking to return to ASU to complete the degree in the future.

United Aviate Academy - Present From August of 2023 to March of 2024 I was a United Aviate Flight Instructor, and still work under the Aviate Campus and Employee pool, but under contract with Lufthansa Aviation Training. At my time working directly for the Aviate Academy I taught students from 4 different courses: PPL, IR, CPLSE, and CFII. In each of these courses, I was in charge of maintaining PIC authority, while providing adequate instruction to students, while they learn new skills and requirements from each of the respective course they are enrolled in.
