Position Summary

The Corporate Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft while supporting domestic and international business travel. This position ensures compliance with company policies, FAA regulations, and international operating requirements while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.

Schedule
• Full-Time
• On-call as required
• Must reside within a 90-minute drive of Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT)

Responsibilities
• Review aircraft maintenance status prior to each flight
• Validate trip details before departure
• Conduct pre-flight inspections in accordance with the Aircraft Flight Manual
• Ensure aircraft airworthiness and required documentation are onboard
• Review weather, NOTAMs, and determine fuel, oil, and oxygen requirements
• Make operational decisions regarding flight delays, cancellations, route changes, and destinations
• Ensure all flight planning requirements are completed
• Maintain proficiency and currency in assigned aircraft
• Complete all required flight documentation and trip paperwork
• Operate aircraft in accordance with company procedures, FAA regulations, and applicable international regulations
• Ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft
• Conduct passenger safety briefings
• Provide exceptional customer service to passengers and crew
• Coordinate with the Director of Aviation and Director of Maintenance regarding aircraft maintenance and operational status
• Report FAA incidents, hazardous weather, aircraft defects, and operational events as required
• Ensure compliance with customs, immigration, cabotage, and other international operating requirements

Requirements
• FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
• Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
• Minimum 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
• Minimum 1,500 hours multi-engine land
• Minimum 500 hours multi-engine PIC
• Minimum 500 hours turbojet time
• Minimum 250 hours instrument time
• Ability to work on an on-call basis
• Primary residence within a 90-minute drive of Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT)

Preferred Qualifications
• Type rating in the Dassault Falcon 7X (DA7X) or comparable aircraft
• Extensive international flight experience
