I am a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. At
OU, I was a member of the Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band and often discussed my interest
in aviation with my classmates. A fellow band member introduced me to her parents who were
both Southwest Airlines pilots. Her father was involved in the pilot recruitment program and
encouraged me to pursue aviation after I graduated. He helped me explore different career
pathways and I have spent the last year as a student pilot at ATP Flight School at Wiley Post
Airport in Oklahoma City. I just completed the program with my CFI and CFII certifications and
am looking to start my career in aviation.
