Description

Position Summary

The First Officer is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft while ensuring the safety of passengers, cargo, and crew throughout all phases of flight. This position assists with flight planning, aircraft inspections, operational documentation, and regulatory compliance. Candidates may be selected for either Azul Conecta or Azul Linhas Aéreas based on qualifications and the Pilot Recruitment Committee’s evaluation.

Responsibilities
• Verify aircraft registration, airworthiness certificates, and required flight manuals.
• Monitor aircraft fueling operations and confirm fuel quantity and distribution.
• Perform external and internal aircraft inspections.
• Verify emergency, survival, and cabin equipment when required.
• Obtain current weather information for routes, destinations, and alternate airports.
• Complete required flight documentation while serving as Pilot Monitoring.
• Return cabin materials and operational equipment to their proper locations following each flight.
• Scan and submit aircraft logbook documentation.


Requirements
• Commercial Pilot License.
• MNTE License (Valid or Expired) for Azul Conecta applicants.
• MLTE or Type Rating (Valid or Expired) for Azul Linhas Aéreas applicants.
• IFR Qualification (Valid or Expired).
• First Class CMA (PC) Medical Certificate issued in Brazil.
• CCT PLA (Theoretical) for Azul Linhas Aéreas applicants.
• Jet Training or Multi-Crew Experience under RBAC 121/135 for Azul Linhas Aéreas applicants.
• Valid ICAO English Proficiency Level 4 or higher for Azul Linhas Aéreas applicants.
• Valid Brazilian Passport.
• Valid or expired U.S. B1/B2 Visa or European citizenship (except ATR fleet applicants).
• Flight hours reviewed by the Pilot Recruitment Committee.


Preferred Qualifications
• ICAO English Proficiency Level 4 or higher for Azul Conecta applicants.
• Higher education degree.
