Highlights

Jet Operation Experience
January 15, 2026 One of the most memorable milestones in my aviation journey was flying the Cessna Citation M2 during my jet transition and initial type rating training. Although most of the training was conducted in a full-flight simulator, the requirements of the Korea Transportation Safety Authority required me to complete training in the actual aircraft before qualifying for the initial type rating. During the flight, I logged approximately 3.2 hours and operated the aircraft at FL390 while adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) practiced throughout simulator training. My instructor and I flew nearly to the boundary of the Korea Air Defense Identification Zone (KADIZ) before returning for landing in light snowfall. This experience strengthened my confidence in applying simulator-based training to real-world jet operations and reinforced the importance of discipline, professionalism, and strict SOP compliance.
