I am a qualified Aerospace Engineer with a chartered recognition status by Engineers Australia in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Management. A professional engineering career spanning over 25 years working across a broad spectrum of highly regulated industries from Aerospace to Defence and public transport. I am an engineer by qualification with a passion for aircraft and flying. I am currently completing my Commercial Pilot License at Flight Academy Australia.

Hanwha Defense Australia (HDA) 2020 - 2022 As the System Engineering Manager for the protected mobile fires project, I established the engineering team that bid and successfully won the LAND8116 defence contract to design and locally build a mobile artillery capability, the very first of subsequent defence contracts for a Korean defence company.

Department of Defence 2011 - 2020 2019 - 2020: Systems Engineering Manager for LAND 17 Phase 1C.1 Ballistic Tracking System (BTS) and Proof Gun System (PGS). Completed Technical Certification (TC) and Introduction Into Service (IIS) of the BTS. I was also responsible for the assurance of technical integrity and sustaining Army’s Indirect Fire Support Weapons (IFSW) fleet. 2015 - 2019: Systems Engineering Manager for LAND 136 Phase 1 Mortar Replacement Project which seeks to modernise Army’s mortar capability by providing a lighter weapon platform optimised for mobility as well as a digitally linked ballistic calculator digitally connected to the indirect fire support network. In this role I was responsible for technical certification of M252A1 81mm mortar weapon platform and M32A1 Ballistics Computer in accordance with Defence Technical Regulatory Framework (TRF).
Senior Design Engineer
GKN Aerospace Engineering Services 2008 - 2010 As the engineering lead under broad direction, I was in charge of planning and delivering the design of flight test wiring harness support bracketry within the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) weapons bay. The design would be supported by computational and structural analysis to validate fitness for purpose under environmental extreme conditions.

Qantas 2006 - 2007 As the mechanical systems engineer, I was responsible for ensuring the technical integrity and airworthiness of the Airbus A330 and Boeing 767 fleet which involved the planning and execution of maintenance activities in compliance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) continued airworthiness regulations/directives.
Aircraft Systems Engineer
Airbus 2002 - 2006 As the onsite system specialist providing engineering technical support on A380 Final Assembly Line (FAL), my role was the liaison engineer between the engineering design office, FAL, flight line and delivery centre. In this role my responsibility was to engage with stakeholders and provide subject matter expertise advice in support of flight test program and serial production.
