Description

Position Summary
The Captain is responsible for safely operating the Citation Sovereign in support of a dedicated owner account conducting Part 91 owner trips and Part 135 charter operations. This position ensures compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures while providing safe, efficient, and professional domestic and international transportation.


Schedule
• Full-time.
• Home-based position.
• Texas base preferred.
• Pilots generally airline to and from the aircraft for assigned rotations.


Responsibilities
• Safely and efficiently conduct domestic and international flights under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations.
• Maintain a high level of crew coordination and professionalism throughout flight operations.
• Provide exceptional service to the aircraft owner and passengers.
• Greet passengers and assist with seating and luggage storage.
• Conduct passenger briefings and respond to passenger requests and needs.
• Maintain compliance with applicable FAA, ICAO, and international flight operations regulations.
• Follow all duties, responsibilities, policies, and procedures outlined in company manuals.
• Maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements
• Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours multi-engine time.
• Minimum 750 hours Pilot in Command (PIC).
• Minimum 150 hours instrument time.
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Valid passport.
• Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
• Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and international flight operations regulations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with word processing, iPads, email, and web/mobile applications.


Preferred Qualifications
• Citation Sovereign type rating.
• Minimum 500 hours multi-engine PIC.
• Part 135 experience.
• Similar aircraft experience may be considered for highly qualified Captains.
