Position Summary
The Pilot in Command is responsible for safely operating the Gulfstream G650ER in support of Part 91 and Part 135 private aviation operations. This position ensures the safe transportation of passengers, crewmembers, and cargo while maintaining compliance with FAA regulations, operational specifications, and company policies and procedures.

Schedule
• Full-time.

Responsibilities
• Serve as the final authority for operation of the assigned aircraft.
• Safely operate the Gulfstream G650ER under Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
• Delay, cancel, or discontinue flights when conditions are unsuitable for safe operation.
• Modify planned flights when necessary to maintain safe aircraft operations.
• Conduct flight planning considering weather, routing, airports, traffic conditions, airway facilities, and aircraft performance.
• Ensure flights are completed as planned or make necessary changes based on en route conditions.
• Review and report aircraft maintenance status.
• Conduct proper preflight inspections in accordance with the approved Airplane Flight Manual or checklist.
• Review weather and facilities along planned routes and at airports to be used.
• Ensure flights comply with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, operations specifications, and established procedures.
• Verify aircraft weight and balance and ensure gross weight and center of gravity remain within operational limits.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Complete all required trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
• Follow operational control requirements applicable to Part 135 operations.
• Maintain professional conduct, appearance, alertness, and discipline while serving as an example for other crewmembers.
• Maintain effective communication and Crew Resource Management with all crewmembers.
• Report flight interruptions prior to the next departure.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot.

Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate category and class ratings.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 3,500 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours PIC turbine time.
• Strong Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to travel internationally without restriction.
• Must be enrolled in an FAA/DOT Drug & Alcohol Program.
• Ability to pass a TSA Criminal History check.
• Must reside within 90 minutes of Birmingham, Alabama or be willing to relocate.

Preferred Qualifications
• Gulfstream G650 type rating strongly preferred.
