Description
Position Summary
The Challenger 350 Captain is responsible for the safe, legal, and economical operation of company aircraft in Part 91 operations. The position serves as Pilot in Command of a dedicated two-crewmember aircraft while maintaining regulatory compliance, operational safety, and a high level of passenger service.
Schedule
• Full-time
• On-demand flight operation with variable hours
Responsibilities
• Serve as final authority for the safe operation of assigned aircraft
• Conduct Part 91 flight operations in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Ensure aircraft airworthiness and required documentation and manuals are onboard
• Complete weight and balance calculations, weather reviews, performance planning, fueling, flight locating, and crew briefings
• Operate the aircraft within manufacturer and company limitations
• Direct and coordinate the duties of the Second in Command and Cabin Attendant, when applicable
• Maintain a safe operating environment and support the Safety Management System (SMS)
• Maintain FAA currency requirements
• Provide a high level of professionalism and customer service
• Assist with additional flight department duties as required
Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Valid Passport
• Valid Driver’s License
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• No accidents or incidents
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Ability to pass required PRIA background, credit, DMV, and employment verification checks
• Ability to read, speak, and write English fluently
• Ability to relocate within two hours of Boca Raton Airport
• Ability to meet applicable international travel requirements
Preferred Qualifications
• 3,000 hours Total Flight Time
• 3,000 hours Multi-Engine Fixed-Wing Flight Time
• 2,000 hours Fixed-Wing PIC
• 500 hours Jet Turbine PIC
• Business jet experience
• International flight experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
