Position Summary
The Challenger 605 Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe conduct and operation of the aircraft in Part 135 air medical transportation operations. The PIC serves as the final authority for assigned flights, exercises operational control, and supervises assigned crew members while supporting patient transport missions.

Schedule
• Full-time
• 8 days on / 6 days off
• 12-hour duty shifts, or up to the maximum permitted under Part 135 while on a mission
• Day or night duty periods assigned monthly
• Pilots generally remain on the same duty period throughout each 8-day rotation
• Training and check flights may occur outside normal duty rotations

Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command of the Challenger 605
• Exercise final authority for the safe operation of assigned flights
• Exercise operational control in accordance with established procedures
• Supervise assigned flight crew members
• Ensure the aircraft is mission-ready in coordination with operations personnel
• Comply with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, Operations Specifications, and operating procedures
• Ensure pertinent flight information is communicated through the operational control structure
• Maintain professional conduct throughout flight operations
• Attend required meetings, training, and check flights
• Assist with aircraft deicing, towing, hangar movement, and flight preparation as required
• Perform additional duties assigned by flight operations leadership

Requirements
• FAA ATP Certificate or eligibility to hold an unrestricted FAA ATP Certificate
• Challenger 605 PIC Type Rating or ability to obtain
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate or ability to obtain and maintain First Class privileges
• Minimum 3,000 hours Airplane Total Flight Time
• Minimum 1,000 hours Airplane PIC
• Minimum 500 hours Airplane Multi-Engine Land Flight Time
• Valid U.S. Passport
• Eligibility to obtain a Chinese C Class Visa
• High School Diploma, GED, or higher
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the assigned base
• Ability to work day, night, and overnight shifts
• Ability to travel for training and maintenance assignments
• Ability to assist with loading patients and move up to 150 pounds cumulatively with assistance

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous air medical / medevac experience
• Previous cargo experience
