Description
Position Summary
The A320 Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft while providing leadership on the flight deck and maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and passenger service. The position is available through either a Malé Resident package or a Network Commuter package.
Schedule
• Full-time.
• Malé Resident: Conventional monthly roster with 63 days of annual leave.
• Network Commuter: 36 weeks on and 16 weeks off annually.
• Network Commuter pilots have no fixed base and are assigned an operating base for each rotation.
• Flying is seasonal, with the busiest period from November through March and a lighter schedule from April through October.
Responsibilities
• Plan and execute flights while ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers and crew.
• Oversee all aspects of flight operations, including takeoff, landing, and in-flight procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the First Officer to maintain effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate records of flight activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable aviation regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain required proficiency.
• Respond appropriately to emergency and abnormal situations.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and passenger service.
Requirements
• Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
• Minimum 5,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours command time.
• Minimum 500 hours on Airbus A320 family aircraft.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
• Experience working in multicultural environments.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

• Network Commuter: $175 monthly transportation allowance.
• Network Commuter: $900 monthly mobility allowance.
• $70 per block hour flying pay.
• Base salary increases by 3% for each completed year of service.
• Additional monthly compensation is available for training and senior roles.
