Description

Position Summary

The ATR Captain is responsible for conducting safe, efficient, compliant, and professional Part 121 flight operations. This position serves as Pilot in Command and maintains responsibility for aircraft operation, crew leadership, regulatory compliance, and operational decision-making.


Schedule
• Full-time.
• Must comply with applicable FAA flight and rest requirements.
• May be required to work in multiple locations.


Responsibilities
• Safely operate the aircraft during all phases of flight.
• Monitor weather, cargo safety, fuel requirements, aircraft loading, and other operational conditions.
• Make appropriate go/no-go and alternate destination decisions.
• Maintain command of the aircraft during normal and unexpected situations.
• Communicate with stations, air traffic control, flight controllers, and dispatch personnel.
• Complete required FAA reports and report unusual aircraft behavior or performance to dispatch or maintenance.
• Accurately record flight hours and comply with applicable FAA rest requirements.
• Supervise and evaluate assigned personnel.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable regulations, procedures, manuals, policies, and operational protocols.
• Complete required company documentation, expense reports, and operational correspondence accurately and on time.


Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Land (MEL) rating.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 2,500 hours Total Flight Time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours PIC.
• Minimum 1,000 hours Multi-Engine Land.
• Minimum 300 hours turbine/turboprop.
• Minimum 500 hours crew time.
• Meet Part 121.436 pilot qualification requirements.
• Current and proficient in IFR operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to comply with the FAA/DOT-required Drug and Alcohol Program.
• Ability to perform required physical duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
