Description

Position Summary

The Challenger 605 Captain is responsible for the safe and professional operation of assigned aircraft as part of a three-person flight crew. This position requires strong command experience, leadership, discretion, flexibility, and a commitment to safe and reliable flight operations.


Schedule
• Full-time.
• 20 scheduled flight days with 10 days off per month.
• On-call operations requiring flexibility for nights, weekends, holidays, and changing schedules.


Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command of the Challenger 605.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and confirm airworthiness prior to flight.
• Conduct required preflight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Review weather, facilities, routing, destination airports, and alternate airports before departure.
• Conduct flights in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Maintain responsibility for the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Accurately complete required trip documentation and paperwork.
• Provide professional communication and customer service to clients and team members.


Requirements
• Minimum 3,500 hours Total Time.
• Minimum 3,000 hours PIC.
• Minimum 3,000 hours Multi-Engine.
• Minimum 2,000 hours Multi-Engine PIC.
• Minimum 200 hours in type.
• Minimum 100 hours PIC in type.
• CL-605 Type Rating or comparable aircraft qualification.
• Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• Must comply with applicable ICAO Annex I requirements for international commercial air transport operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted commercial pilot travel to and from Canada.
• Strong leadership, communication, customer service, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work on-call and accommodate changing operational requirements.


Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum 1,750 hours Turbine Time.
• Previous Part 135 experience.
