Description
Position Summary
The Global 7500 Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned domestic and international flights within a private aviation environment. This position serves as Pilot in Command, leading the flight crew while maintaining high standards of safety, security, passenger service, and operational professionalism.
Schedule
• Full-time.
• Onsite position.
• Variable schedule based on flight mission requirements.
• Extensive worldwide travel required.
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command on assigned flights.
• Make operational decisions necessary to ensure safe and compliant flight operations.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of aircraft systems, performance, flight planning, and operating procedures.
• Conduct required passenger safety briefings or delegate them to the Second in Command.
• Perform applicable TSA flight security coordinator responsibilities under the Twelve-Five Standard Security Program or Private Charter Standard Security Program.
• Identify and report safety concerns, hazards, and aircraft discrepancies.
• Manage trip documentation, aircraft manuals, and required flight paperwork.
• Maintain the safety, security, and comfort of passengers throughout each flight.
• Adapt to changing operational, weather, and mission requirements.
• Maintain professional and discreet interactions with passengers, crew members, and support personnel.
Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 3,500 hours Total Fixed-Wing Time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours PIC.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine.
• Minimum 500 hours Turbojet.
• Minimum 500 hours Turbine.
• Minimum 100 hours Night.
• Minimum 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
• High school diploma.
• Ability to work a variable flight schedule.
• Ability to travel worldwide without restrictions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
• Global 7500 Type Rating and currency.
• College degree.
• Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment in a private aviation environment.
