Position Summary
The Citation CE-560XL Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe and professional operation of assigned aircraft during Part 135 charter flight operations. The position combines command responsibilities with passenger service, regulatory compliance, aircraft readiness, and coordination with flight operations.
Schedule
• Full-time, exempt position.
• Varying duty schedules.
• Evening, weekend, and scheduled holiday availability required.
• Scheduling flexibility required.
• Remote-base assignment.
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command during assigned Part 135 charter operations.
• Conduct flights safely and in accordance with applicable FAA regulations and operating procedures.
• Maintain a high level of competency and proficiency in the assigned aircraft.
• Coordinate with flight operations regarding passenger requirements and operational needs.
• Inspect the aircraft for cleanliness and readiness before passenger arrival.
• Provide professional passenger service throughout assigned operations.
• Operate independently while assigned to the remote base.
• Reside within 45 minutes of Dallas Love Field (KDAL).
Requirements
• Minimum 2,500 hours Total Time.
• Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Meet the requirements of 14 CFR Part 135.243(a)(1) and (c).
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and required drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• Previous Part 135 experience.
• Aircraft-specific type rating and experience.
