Position Summary

The Ground Instructor delivers classroom and online Instruction supporting pilot and flight attendant Initial, Upgrade, Transition, and Recurrent training programs. The position is responsible for effective instruction, accurate training documentation, curriculum development, and maintaining training materials in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Schedule
• Full-time.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities
• Deliver classroom and online instruction for Initial, Upgrade, Transition, and Recurrent training programs.
• Support successful completion of required pilot and flight attendant training.
• Record and certify completed training in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and support revisions to pilot training manuals.
• Develop and improve training curriculum, presentations, graphics, and interactive learning materials.
• Evaluate training methods and recommend effective and efficient approaches.
• Identify opportunities to improve training quality and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with training personnel and operational teams on additional learning initiatives.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Aviation knowledge and familiarity with aircraft terminology and processes.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and group discussion skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with Adobe software and development of graphics and interactive training content.
• Current and valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications
• Pilot or dispatcher certification.
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, particularly 14 CFR Parts 61, 91, 119, and 135.
• One or more years of training experience within a Part 121 or Part 135 operation.
• Previous teaching, instruction, or facilitation experience.
