Position Summary

The Pilatus PC-12 Captain conducts IFR Air Medical flight operations, transporting medical crews and patients within an assigned operational area. The Captain holds final authority for aircraft operations and is responsible for aircraft airworthiness, flight planning, weather evaluation, and regulatory compliance.

Schedule
• Full-time.
• 7 days on / 7 days off.
• 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities
• Safely and legally operate the Pilatus PC-12 in accordance with applicable regulations and operational procedures.
• Serve as final authority for aircraft operations and the safety of passengers, cargo, and equipment.
• Complete required pre-flight inspections and verify aircraft airworthiness before each flight.
• Conduct detailed flight planning, including assignments received with limited notice.
• Maintain familiarity with aircraft and medical systems used within the assigned operational area.
• Ensure medical flight crews are familiar with applicable aircraft medical interiors and systems.
• Complete required flight and operational documentation.
• Participate in meetings, projects, committees, and community outreach activities as assigned.

Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Single-Engine Land Rating.
• Instrument Rating appropriate to the aircraft category and class; an ATP in category also satisfies the instrument requirement.
• FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 2,500 hours Total Time.
• Minimum 2,500 hours in Category.
• Minimum 1,000 hours PIC in Category.
• Minimum 500 hours Cross-Country, including at least 50 hours at Night.
• Minimum 500 hours Turbine.
• Minimum 150 hours Night.
• Minimum 300 hours Actual Instrument in Category.
• Minimum 50 hours in Make and Model.
• Must have flown in category within the previous 24 months.
• Must meet all applicable Airlift Northwest flight experience requirements.
• Must maintain a weight not exceeding 250 pounds.
• Must be under 70 years of age.
• Associate degree or equivalent education and 2–5 years of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
