Position Summary

The Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for the safe conduct of assigned fixed-wing air medical flights operating under FAR Part 135. This position serves as the final authority for aircraft operations, exercises operational control, supervises assigned crew members, and ensures each mission is conducted safely and in compliance with applicable regulations and company procedures.

Schedule
• Full-Time
• 7 days on / 7 days off
• 12-hour duty shifts, with a maximum of 14 hours when operating under Part 135
• Day and night duty periods
• 30-minute launch readiness while on duty
• Overnight shifts may be required
• Travel required for training events or maintenance assignments

Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command for assigned Part 135 flight operations
• Maintain final authority for the safe operation of assigned aircraft
• Exercise operational control in accordance with company procedures
• Supervise assigned flight crew members
• Ensure the aircraft is mission-ready in coordination with the Global Operations Center
• Maintain compliance with applicable FARs, OpSpecs, and company operating procedures
• Communicate pertinent flight information through the operational control structure
• Maintain professional conduct throughout all flight operations
• Attend required meetings, training events, and check flights
• Assist with aircraft de-icing, towing, hangar operations, and flight preparation when required
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Operations or Chief Pilot

Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP), or eligibility to obtain an unrestricted ATP
• CE-560E PIC Type Rating, or ability to obtain
• FAA First-Class Medical Certificate, or ability to obtain and maintain First-Class privileges
• Minimum 3,000 hours Airplane Total Time
• Minimum 1,000 hours Airplane PIC
• Minimum 500 hours Airplane Multi-Engine Land
• Valid U.S. Passport
• High school diploma, GED, or higher
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Dallas, Texas

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous medevac experience
• Previous cargo experience
