Position Summary
The Airbus A320 Captain serves as Pilot in Command for airline flight operations and is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely operation of assigned flights. This position requires strong command leadership, sound operational decision-making, and effective coordination with flight crews and passengers.
Schedule
• Full-time.
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command and maintain responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of assigned aircraft.
• Ensure the safety of passengers and crew throughout each flight.
• Evaluate aircraft airworthiness and weather conditions affecting assigned operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable flight regulations and air traffic control procedures.
• Utilize available operational tools and resources to maintain safety in flight and during ground operations.
• Exercise sound command judgment and demonstrate consistent safety leadership.
Requirements
• FAA Airman Certificate.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• Must meet the requirements of FAR 121.436.
• Minimum 4,000 hours Total Time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours Jet PIC under a Part 121 certificate, or 1,500 hours Jet PIC under a Part 135 certificate.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Ability to maintain a valid passport.
• Ability to travel unrestricted to and from the United States.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Airbus A320 Type Rating.
