Position Summary
The Chief Pilot is responsible for the leadership and oversight of company flight operations, ensuring pilot compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and operational standards. This position manages pilot performance, promotes a strong safety culture, supports regulatory compliance, and assumes the duties of the Director of Operations when required.

Responsibilities
• Manage, direct, and oversee all company pilots while promoting a professional, safety-focused culture
• Ensure pilot compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, Operations Specifications (OpSpecs), and approved company manuals
• Assume the duties of the Director of Operations during their absence
• Oversee the Company’s Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM) program
• Review and recommend revisions to operational manuals
• Conduct ground and classroom instruction when serving as a Company Ground Instructor
• Assist with the designation of Special Airports
• Coordinate with the Director of Operations and Director of Maintenance to monitor navigation database discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Ensure all pilots remain current, qualified, and operationally compliant
• Monitor pilot medical certifications and qualification records
• Conduct annual company badge and facility access audits with Human Resources
• Represent the company with government agencies, industry organizations, and the aviation community
• Serve as liaison with aircraft manufacturers regarding operational updates
• Ensure all pilots have Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs) and required operational resources
• Approve and request amendments to Operations Specifications (OpSpecs)
• Support safety investigations, compliance initiatives, and operational improvements

Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate aircraft ratings
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Previous Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience in a large aircraft operated under 14 CFR Part 121 or Part 135
• Minimum three years of qualifying Chief Pilot and/or Pilot-in-Command experience as required by FAA regulations
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Valid unrestricted U.S. Passport
• Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
• Strong communication, leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding)

• Supplemental Part 121 experience
• FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
