Position Summary

The Direct Entry Dash 8 Captain operates regional passenger services from Sydney, including flights to Lord Howe Island. The position requires experienced multi-engine command capabilities and the ability to operate safely in technically demanding regional environments.

Schedule
• Permanent, full-time.

Responsibilities
• Serve as Captain on Dash 8 regional passenger operations.
• Conduct scheduled RPT services in accordance with applicable regulations and company operating procedures.
• Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and operational discipline.
• Operate services to Lord Howe Island, including short-runway operations.
• Support safe, reliable, and consistent regional flight operations.

Requirements
• Australian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL-A).
• CASA Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate.
• Australian Multi-Engine Instrument Rating with IAP2D and IAP3D.
• Minimum 4,000 hours Total Time.
• Minimum 750 hours PIC Multi-Engine.
• English Language Proficiency Level 6.
• Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
• Must have the right to live and work in Australia.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment and ongoing medical, drug, and alcohol screening.

Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum 750 hours PIC on the DHC-8.
• DHC-8 Type Rating.
