Position Summary

The Boeing 737 First Officer supports airline flight operations as a required flight crew member, assisting the Captain with the safe and efficient operation of assigned flights. This position includes comprehensive initial training and requires the ability to operate a variable airline schedule.

Schedule
• Rotating schedule with variable hours.
• Duty periods may be up to 16 hours.
• Night, overnight, weekend, and holiday availability required.
• Multiple days away from home may be required.
• Minimum 12 days off per month for line holders and reserve pilots.
• Monthly and reserve guarantee of 70 hours.

Responsibilities
• Serve as First Officer aboard Boeing 737 aircraft.
• Support the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of assigned flights.
• Perform flight duties in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and operating procedures.
• Maintain required aircraft proficiency, currency, and professional standards.
• Participate in required initial, recurrent, and operational training.
• Maintain readiness for variable flight schedules and extended duty periods.

Requirements
• Must meet applicable 14 CFR 121.436 requirements.
• FAA Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Airplane Multi-Engine Land rating, Military Restricted ATP (R-ATP), or qualifying non-military R-ATP.
• ATP-CTP course and ATP written examination completed.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 1,000 hours Total Time for qualifying graduates of approved Part 141 aviation bachelor’s degree programs, or 1,250 hours Total Time for qualifying graduates of approved Part 141 aviation associate degree programs, or 1,500 hours Total Time for pilots age 21 or older meeting applicable ATP requirements.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Valid and current U.S. passport with at least six months remaining validity.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a Department of Transportation pre-employment drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications
• Heavy jet experience.
• Boeing aircraft experience.
• Boeing 737 Type Rating.

Compensation
• New-hire training pay: $6,020 per month.
• Upon completion of Boeing 737 IOE: $7,700 per month based on a 70-hour guarantee.
• Year 1 First Officer rate: $110 per hour, increasing annually to $201 per hour in Year 12.
• Flight hours above 75 paid at 125% of the applicable hourly rate.
• Day-off flying paid at 150% of the applicable hourly rate.
