Description
Position Summary
The A320 First Officer supports the Captain in the safe, disciplined, and efficient operation of company aircraft while maintaining high standards of professionalism, teamwork, and passenger service. The position is available through either a Malé Resident package or a Network Commuter package and provides opportunities for future command progression.
Schedule
• Full-time.
• Malé Resident: Conventional monthly roster with 63 days of annual leave.
• Network Commuter: 36 weeks on and 16 weeks off annually.
• Network Commuter pilots have no fixed base and are assigned an operating base for each rotation.
• Flying is seasonal, with the busiest period from November through March and a lighter schedule from April through October.
Responsibilities
• Assist the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.
• Monitor aircraft systems and performance throughout all phases of flight.
• Assist with flight planning, including weather, fuel requirements, and air traffic considerations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, operating manuals, checklists, and company procedures.
• Perform required pre-flight checks and briefings.
• Ensure required flight documentation is complete and current.
• Assist with preparation of detailed flight plans based on aircraft performance and weather conditions.
• Maintain effective communication with the Captain and ground personnel.
Requirements
• Valid EASA, ICAO, or FAA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), or Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR) and ATPL theoretical credits.
• Current Airbus A320 family type rating.
• Most recent flight on an Airbus A320 family aircraft must have been within the previous 3 months.
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
• Minimum 500 hours total flight time on Airbus A320 family aircraft.
Preferred Qualifications
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 preferred.

• Network Commuter: $3,500 monthly base salary.
• Network Commuter: $175 monthly transportation allowance.
• Network Commuter: $600 monthly mobility allowance.
• $45 per block hour flying pay.
• Base salary increases by 3% for each completed year of service.
• Additional monthly compensation is available for training and senior roles.
