Description
Position Summary
The First Officer supports safe, efficient, compliant, and professional Part 121 ATR flight operations. The position assists the Captain throughout all phases of flight while monitoring aircraft performance, weather, cargo, fuel requirements, and changing operational conditions.
Schedule
• Full-time.
• Must comply with FAA rest requirements and company directives.
• May be required to work in multiple locations.
Responsibilities
• Safely operate and monitor the aircraft throughout all phases of flight.
• Monitor weather, cargo safety, fuel requirements, and other operational conditions.
• Assist with go/no-go and alternate destination decisions.
• Maintain effective communication with stations, air traffic control, flight controllers, and dispatchers.
• Report unusual aircraft behavior or performance to dispatch or maintenance personnel.
• Complete required FAA reports and accurately record flight hours.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations, procedures, manuals, and company policies.
• Maintain required flight currency and proficiency.
• Review company bulletins and operational correspondence.
• Complete required reports, expense documentation, and company correspondence.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards during flight operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Land Rating.
• FAA Second Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Total Time.
• Minimum 250 hours PIC.
• Minimum 50 hours Multi-Engine Land.
• Must meet all applicable requirements under 14 CFR 61.159.
• Current IFR currency and proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must comply with the FAA/DOT Drug and Alcohol Program.
