Position Summary

The First Officer serves as Second in Command and is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient transportation of passengers, mail, and cargo while delivering a positive customer experience. This position operates scheduled airline flights in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and established operating standards while maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and safety.

Responsibilities
• Serve as Second in Command during scheduled airline operations.
• Safely transport passengers, mail, freight, and other commercial cargo.
• Comply with Federal Aviation Regulations, company flight procedures, and operating policies.
• Operate company aircraft in accordance with approved flight manuals and qualification standards.
• Communicate effectively with company personnel and external agencies.
• Maintain the knowledge required of an Airline Transport Pilot.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism during all phases of flight operations.

Requirements
• Minimum 1,500 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 500 hours fixed-wing turbine flight time (airplane and powered lift combined).
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument-Airplane Rating.
• Meet all ATP aeronautical experience requirements under 14 CFR §61.159.
• Current ATP written exam.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Valid U.S. passport (or appropriate international travel documentation) with a minimum of six months validity remaining.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Willingness to be domiciled in Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Anchorage, AK; Los Angeles, CA; San Diego, CA; or San Francisco, CA.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent judgment, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Minimum 23 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an airport SIDA badge.

Preferred Qualifications
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• Four-year degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 500 hours multi-engine airplane time.
• Minimum 50 hours of flight time within the previous 12 months.
• Minimum 500 hours turbine PIC time.
• Turbojet or turboprop experience in a complex operating environment.

Compensation
• Monthly guarantee: 70 hours.
• Reserve guarantee: 75 hours (Long Call) or 84 hours (Short Call).
