Description
Position Summary
The First Officer supports the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of Boeing 737 flights. This home-based position operates in a fast-paced environment with extensive travel and requires strong regulatory knowledge, communication, teamwork, and professional flight standards.
Schedule
• Full-time
• Home based
• Minimum guarantee of 72 flight hours per month
• Seniority-based schedule
• Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required
• Extensive travel required
Responsibilities
• Assist the Captain with the safe operation of the aircraft, passengers, cargo, and crew
• Perform flight duties as delegated by the Captain
• Assume command if the Captain becomes incapacitated
• Maintain awareness of Captain responsibilities and exercise delegated authority as required
• Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures
• Maintain a current First-Class Medical Certificate and report conditions that could affect fitness for duty
• Maintain professionalism, teamwork, and clear communication throughout all phases of flight
Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP)
• Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
• Multi-engine aircraft type rating
• Minimum 2,000 hours Total Flight Time
• Minimum 500 hours Turbojet
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport with unrestricted worldwide travel eligibility
• English proficiency at ICAO Level 4 or higher
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Strong record of safety and regulatory compliance
• Ability to successfully complete DOT drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to successfully complete a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic operating environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Boeing 737 Type Rating
• Narrow-body aircraft experience
• Crew Resource Management (CRM) training or experience
