Description

Position Summary

The First Officer is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of Boeing 737 aircraft while providing reliable passenger service. This position works closely with the Captain, Flight Attendants, Dispatchers, and ground personnel to conduct flight operations in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and established operating standards.

Responsibilities
• Support the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of assigned flights
• Coordinate closely with the Captain, Flight Attendants, Dispatchers, and ground personnel
• Conduct flight operations in accordance with FAA-approved and accepted manuals, Operations Specifications, applicable regulations, and manufacturer recommendations
• Comply with aircraft operating limitations and established safety procedures
• Assume command of the aircraft if the Captain becomes incapacitated
• Take appropriate action to resolve situations that may compromise safety or regulatory compliance
• Direct the Flight Crew when assigned by the Captain
• Submit required reports regarding operational irregularities or incidents
• Notify flight operations leadership of discrepancies or incidents affecting safe or compliant operations
• Maintain professional communication with passengers and other team members
• Successfully complete required initial and recurrent training, proficiency checks, and evaluations
• Maintain awareness of hazards and respond appropriately to emergency situations
• Support passenger assistance activities when appropriate
• Perform additional duties as assigned


Requirements
• FAA Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Airplane Multi-Engine Land rating
• Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Valid passport with unrestricted ability to travel into and out of the United States
• Minimum 23 years of age at time of hire
• High school diploma or GED
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
• English proficiency
• Ability to obtain and maintain required CREW badge designation
• Ability to successfully complete initial and recurrent training, proficiency checks, and evaluations
• Ability to comply with applicable drug and alcohol testing requirements
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds


Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum 500 hours Fixed-Wing Turbine
• Turbine PIC experience
• Actively flying fixed-wing turbine aircraft within the last three years
• Part 121 airline, military, and/or U.S.-based flight experience
• Boeing 737 Type Rating
• Bachelor’s degree
• Completion of a Destination 225° pathway program
• Aviation leadership experience within a flight department of 10 or more pilots
• Demonstrated history of operational excellence in training and flight experience

Compensation
• Starting pay of $125.90 per Trip for Pay (TFP)
• Opportunities for contractual wage increases and additional pay for specified flying
