Description

Position Summary
Seeking a Cessna 208 Caravan Captain responsible for conducting safe, efficient, compliant, and professional Cargo flight operations. This role serves as Pilot-in-Command and is responsible for flight safety, operational decision-making, regulatory compliance, crew leadership, and ensuring the safe transportation of cargo throughout assigned operations.


Responsibilities
• Safely maneuver the aircraft during all phases of flight
• Monitor weather conditions, cargo safety, fuel requirements, and aircraft performance
• Make go/no-go decisions and alternate destination decisions when required
• Maintain command authority during unexpected operational situations
• Communicate with stations, control towers, dispatchers, and flight control personnel
• File required FAA reports and communicate aircraft discrepancies to maintenance and dispatch personnel
• Properly record flight hours and comply with FAA rest requirements and company policies
• Supervise personnel related to assigned flights
• Maintain current knowledge of regulations, policies, procedures, manuals, and operational guidance
• Review company communications, bulletins, emails, and correspondence daily
• Submit expense reports and required documentation accurately and on time
• Serve as a professional leader and positive representative of the flight department
• Perform other duties as assigned


Requirements
• Commercial Pilot Certificate with Single-Engine Land and Instrument Ratings
• Minimum 1,200 Total Flight Hours
• Minimum 800 PIC Hours
• Minimum 500 Cross-Country Hours
• Minimum 100 Night Hours
• Minimum 75 Instrument Hours (50 Actual)
• Current and Proficient IFR Experience
• FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Compliance with FAA and DOT Drug and Alcohol Program requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors and in aircraft environments
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and stoop for extended periods
• Ability to work in multiple locations as required
