Position Summary
The C208 Caravan Captain is responsible for conducting safe, efficient, and compliant Part 135 flight operations. The PIC maintains command of the aircraft throughout all phases of flight while ensuring proper flight planning, cargo safety, regulatory compliance, and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command of the C208 Caravan
• Safely operate the aircraft during all phases of flight
• Monitor weather, flight conditions, and cargo safety
• Make go/no-go and alternate destination decisions based on operating conditions
• Verify fuel requirements, weather variables, and proper aircraft loading
• Maintain command during unexpected or changing flight conditions
• Communicate with stations, air traffic control, flight controllers, and dispatch personnel
• Complete required FAA reports and accurately record flight hours
• Report unusual aircraft behavior or performance to dispatch or maintenance personnel
• Comply with FAA rest requirements and established operating procedures
• Supervise personnel associated with assigned flights as required
• Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations, procedures, manuals, and operating policies
• Complete required operational and administrative documentation accurately and on time

Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate (CPL)
• Single-Engine Land Rating
• Instrument Rating
• Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
• Minimum 1,200 hours Total Flight Time
• Minimum 800 hours PIC
• Minimum 500 hours Cross-Country Flight Time
• Minimum 100 hours Night Flight Time
• Minimum 75 hours Instrument Flight Time, including 50 hours actual instrument
• Must be instrument current and proficient
• Ability to comply with FAA/DOT Drug and Alcohol Program requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors and in inclement weather
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in multiple locations as required
