Description
Position Summary
The First Officer is responsible for supporting the Captain during all phases of flight while ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations. This position assists with aircraft operation, navigation, communication, and adherence to company procedures while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and teamwork.
Schedule
• Full-Time
• Flight schedule based on operational requirements
Responsibilities
• Assist the Captain during all phases of flight operations
• Carry out assigned flight duties in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Continuously monitor aircraft position and terrain clearance to ensure safe navigation
• Provide operational support, information, and recommendations to the Captain to enhance flight safety and efficiency
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, discipline, and appearance while representing the company
• Report any aircraft faults, malfunctions, or safety concerns affecting airworthiness or flight operations
• Utilize the company’s occurrence reporting system in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Support a positive flight deck environment through effective Crew Resource Management (CRM) and teamwork
Requirements
• EASA Part-FCL ATPL or CPL/IR with Frozen ATPL
• EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
• Minimum 1,500 hours multi-pilot, multi-engine experience on jet aircraft or turboprop aircraft over 10 metric tons MTOW or configured with more than 19 passenger seats
• Authorization to live and work in Italy
• Minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 (Level 6 preferred)
• Ability to successfully complete a security background check and pre-employment medical examination
• Willingness to transfer flight crew license to an Italian-issued EASA license
Preferred Qualifications
• 2,000 hours on widebody aircraft for consideration as Senior First Officer
• Strong flying skills and commitment to safety
• Ability to work effectively within a multicultural environment
