Position Summary
The Pilot in Command (PIC) for the Challenger 300 is responsible for the safe, legal, and efficient operation of aircraft in Part 91/135 operations while delivering a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Act as final authority for safe aircraft operation
- Conduct all duties related to Part 91/135 flight operations
- Perform flight planning, weight and balance, and performance calculations
- Ensure aircraft airworthiness and proper documentation
- Direct and coordinate with SIC and cabin crew
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture
- Maintain compliance with FAA regulations and company SOPs
- Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism
- Maintain currency and training requirements
Requirements
- ATP Certificate
- First Class Medical
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Valid passport
- No accidents or incidents
- Must pass drug screening, PRIA, credit, DMV, and background checks
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must relocate within 2 hours of Manassas, VA (KHEF)
Preferred Qualifications
- 4,000 total flight hours
- 3,000 multi-engine hours
- 2,000 PIC hours
- 250 PIC turbine hours
- Business jet experience
- International experience
- Bachelor’s degree
