PlaneSense is a fractional aircraft ownership company operating a fleet of Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, providing private air travel services throughout the United States and internationally.


Position Summary

The PC-12 First Officer serves as Second-in-Command in Part 135 operations, supporting the Captain in all phases of flight. This role requires adaptability to a dynamic schedule while ensuring safe, compliant, and professional flight operations.


Responsibilities
  • Assist the Captain with flight planning, weather review, and NOTAM analysis
  • Verify flight information and ensure compliance with FARs and company procedures
  • Conduct preflight inspections and ensure aircraft readiness and cleanliness
  • Obtain IFR clearances and update navigation databases and charts
  • Support passenger operations including baggage handling
  • Deliver professional, high-quality customer service to passengers

Requirements
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate – Single Engine Land
  • Instrument Rating
  • 1st or 2nd Class Medical Certificate
  • Minimum 750 hours total time
  • Strong IFR knowledge and flight proficiency
  • Valid passport with unrestricted international travel privileges
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1000+ total time
  • 75+ hours of instrument time
  • CFII
  • Experience in Part 135 or Part 91K operations
  • Turbine experience, preferably in PC-12
  • Familiarity with technically advanced aircraft (TAA)
  • Bachelor’s degree or aviation leadership experience
