Position Summary

Island Air is seeking a Pilot to operate the Cherokee 6 in scheduled and charter operations across Kodiak Island, flying in challenging weather and remote environments.

Schedule
Permanent, year round position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and charter flights to remote villages
• Operate in challenging weather and short gravel runway environments
• Load and unload aircraft
• Maintain safe and efficient flight operations
• Adhere to Part 135 VFR requirements

Requirements

• CPL required
• 500 total time
• Must meet Part 135 VFR minimums
• Ability to operate in remote Alaska conditions
• Must be able to load and unload aircraft

Preferred Qualifications

• 1,000 total time
• Alaska flying experience
