Description
Position Summary
Seeking a Second in Command (SIC) to support Part 135 and Part 91 operations in Alaska. This position assists the Pilot in Command during executive transportation, crew changes, surveillance missions, and offshore logistics operations while supporting safe and efficient flight operations.
Responsibilities
• Assume duties delegated by the PIC during flight assignments
• Supervise aircraft fueling operations
• Operate aircraft in accordance with company SOPs
• Keep passengers informed regarding delays and flight status updates
• Assume PIC responsibilities in the event of PIC incapacitation
• Maintain familiarity with company manuals and compliance documents
• Register and maintain records in the Pilot Record Database (PRD)
• Track instrument and night landing currency requirements
• Assist with aircraft loading and unloading
• Assist with weight and balance calculations
• Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
• Support domestic and international flight operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate
• FAA Instrument Rating
• FAA First-Class or Second-Class Medical Certificate
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to pass pre-employment substance abuse testing
• Ability to travel internationally
