Description
Position Summary
The Cessna CJ3 Captain serves as Pilot in Command for Part 135 Charter flight operations. This home-based position is responsible for the safe, legal, and efficient operation of assigned flights while providing professional passenger service.
Schedule
• Full-time.
• 8 days on / 6 days off.
Responsibilities
• Safely, legally, and efficiently operate assigned flights.
• Complete required pre-flight, cockpit, and post-flight checklists and inspections.
• Conduct flight planning covering weather, navigation, aircraft airworthiness, performance, facilities, security, and passenger requirements.
• Ensure flight operations comply with applicable FAA regulations and operational procedures.
• Load and unload passenger baggage.
• Provide professional customer service to passengers.
• Perform additional flight-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Land Rating.
• CE-525 Type Rating.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• Minimum 3,000 hours Total Time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours PIC.
• Minimum 250 hours Time-in-Type.
• CE-525 currency within the previous 36 months.
• Current and valid passport.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or hold a current Resident Alien Card with authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be eligible for ICAO international operations.
• Must successfully complete required training and demonstrate proficiency in all applicable job requirements.
• Must reside within the continental United States and within 50 miles of a major airport.
• Prorated training contract required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous Part 135 experience.
