Description

Position Summary

The Challenger 605 Captain serves as Pilot in Command for Charter flight operations under Part 135. This two-pilot operation primarily conducts domestic flying and requires the Captain to maintain final responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft while providing professional passenger service.


Schedule
• Full-time.
• Two-pilot operation.
• Majority of flight operations are domestic.


Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command aboard the Challenger 605.
• Ensure crew and trip assignments comply with applicable regulatory and operational requirements.
• Complete flight planning, aircraft performance, and weight and balance calculations.
• Conduct required operational and passenger briefings.
• Complete aircraft pre-flight duties and verify aircraft maintenance status and mission readiness.
• Document aircraft discrepancies in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor aircraft fueling, oil, oxygen, and other required ground servicing.
• Utilize CRM and Threat and Error Management during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
• Provide professional service to aircraft owners and passengers.
• Maintain required training, proficiency, and recency.
• Comply with applicable Safety Management System requirements and report safety or compliance concerns.


Requirements
• FAA Type Rating applicable to the Challenger 605.
• Minimum 3,500 hours Total Time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land.
• Minimum 2,000 hours PIC.
• Minimum 500 hours PIC Multi-Engine Land.
• Minimum 300 hours Instrument.
• Minimum 500 hours Jet.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Must successfully complete required pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

• Previous corporate/business aviation experience.
