Description

Position Summary

The Captain serves as Pilot-in-Command of the Citation CJ3 (CE-525B), providing safe and professional Part 135 charter and Part 91 operations. This home-based position is responsible for operational control, flight crew leadership, regulatory compliance, aircraft oversight, and premium passenger service during domestic and international operations.


Schedule
• Full-time, exempt
• Home based within the United States
• Four crew member, 8 days on / 6 days off rotation
• Evening and weekend availability required
• On-call periods are a standard part of the role
• Domestic and international travel
• Extended overnight and multi-day trips may be required
• 100% travel


Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot-in-Command of the Citation CJ3
• Conduct aircraft operations in accordance with applicable FARs, company policies, and the Flight Operations Manual
• Exercise operational control and make final go/no-go decisions
• Lead preflight planning, weather analysis, NOTAM review, and flight preparation
• Maintain compliance with flight and duty-time limitations and rest requirements
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and in-flight guidance to assigned First Officers
• Conduct passenger briefings and provide professional in-flight service
• Coordinate itinerary changes and passenger requests with Operations Control
• Review aircraft flight and maintenance logs prior to departure
• Verify aircraft airworthiness and coordinate maintenance discrepancies
• Ensure required preflight, post-flight, and servicing procedures are completed
• Maintain accurate flight, aircraft, and passenger records
• Perform Ground and In-flight Security Coordinator duties when applicable
• Ensure compliance with international travel, customs, immigration, FAA, and ICAO requirements
• Maintain required aircraft proficiency, qualifications, and currency


Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
• Current CE-525B Type Rating
• Minimum 3,000 hours Total Flight Time
• Minimum 1,500 hours PIC
• Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC
• Minimum 250 hours CE-525B PIC
• Minimum 250 hours Turbine PIC on assigned aircraft
• Initial or recurrent training on the required aircraft type completed within the preceding 12 months
• Working knowledge of FAR Part 135 and Part 91 operations
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport
• Ability to meet FAA medical and physical standards for Part 135 PIC operations
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening


Preferred Qualifications
• Part 135 or corporate flight operations experience
• Managed fleet experience serving high-net-worth clientele
• Experience mentoring and developing junior pilots
• Extensive international flight operations experience
• Experience with ICAO airspace, overwater procedures, and customs coordination
• Familiarity with Avianis, ForeFlight Dispatch, or similar platforms
• Experience with Safety Management System programs, audit preparation, or fleet standardization initiatives
