Description
Position Summary
The Captain serves as Pilot in Command (PIC) and is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of the Gulfstream G500. This position requires strong leadership, sound decision-making, flexibility, and the ability to provide exceptional service while conducting domestic and international flight operations.
Schedule
• Full-time.
• Variable schedule based on flight mission requirements.
• Extensive worldwide travel required.
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) for assigned flights.
• Maintain responsibility for the safety and operation of the aircraft, crew, and passengers.
• Make operational decisions in accordance with federal, local, and company regulations.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems and operating procedures.
• Manage flight planning and adapt to changing operational conditions.
• Perform applicable TSA Flight Security Coordinator duties.
• Conduct required passenger safety briefings or assign them to the Second in Command.
• Promote open communication regarding safety issues and report operational hazards.
• Record and report aircraft discrepancies as they occur.
• Manage trip documentation and maintain required aircraft manuals.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain professional and discreet service during all flight operations.
Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 3,500 hours Total Fixed-Wing Time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours PIC.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine.
• Minimum 500 hours Turbojet.
• Minimum 500 hours Turbine.
• Minimum 100 hours Night.
• Minimum 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
• High school diploma.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work a variable schedule based on mission requirements.
• Ability to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
• Appropriate Gulfstream G500 type rating and currency.
• College degree.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment.
