Position Summary
The Captain is responsible for serving as Pilot in Command for Part 91 and Part 135 operations while ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. This role provides operational leadership, mentors First Officers, delivers exceptional customer service, oversees aircraft readiness, and maintains the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Schedule
• 10 days on / 5 days off rotation.
• Domestic and international travel required.
• Multi-day trips with early departures, late arrivals, evenings, weekends, and holidays as operationally required.
• Continuous communication with scheduling and dispatch.
• In-person presence required at assigned base and charter departure points.

Responsibilities
• Set the standard for every flight assignment by modeling safety culture, professionalism, and service standards.
• Provide active mentorship and in-flight guidance to assigned First Officers.
• Deliver honest, constructive feedback to First Officers following flights.
• Foster an environment built on open communication, mutual respect, and shared accountability.
• Communicate First Officer performance observations to the Chief Pilot.
• Conduct aircraft operations in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual, applicable FARs, and company policies.
• Exercise operational control and final go/no-go decision authority.
• Maintain current proficiency and currency as the required crewmember on assigned aircraft.
• Lead preflight planning, weather analysis, NOTAM review, and all flight preparation activities.
• Ensure compliance with flight and duty limitations and required rest periods.
• Deliver premium passenger experiences throughout every phase of each trip.
• Build strong client relationships through professional and personalized service.
• Coordinate itinerary changes and special passenger requests with Operations Control.
• Conduct passenger briefings and manage in-flight service.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company at all times.
• Review aircraft maintenance logs and coordinate open maintenance items.
• Verify aircraft manuals, charts, required equipment, and documentation before each flight.
• Coordinate aircraft servicing and required maintenance.
• Monitor engine trend data as requested by maintenance personnel.
• Complete all flight, passenger, and aircraft records accurately and on time.
• Perform Ground and In-Flight Security Coordinator duties as required.
• Verify required documentation for international operations.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, ICAO, customs, immigration, and foreign aviation regulations.
• Complete additional projects and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Citation XL (CE-560XL) Type Rating.
• Current in type with training completed within the previous 12 months.
• 3,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 Pilot-in-Command hours.
• 500 Multi-Engine PIC hours.
• 250 PIC hours in type.
• 250 Turbine PIC hours on assigned aircraft.
• Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Part 135 and Part 91 operations.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid passport with unrestricted international travel privileges.
• Proficiency using digital flight planning software, avionics systems, and web/mobile flight applications.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to meet FAA medical and physical standards required for Part 135 Pilot-in-Command operations.

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous Part 135 or corporate flight operations experience.
• Experience mentoring and developing junior pilots.
• Familiarity with Avianis, ForeFlight Dispatch, or similar scheduling and dispatch platforms.
• Extensive international operational experience, including ICAO procedures, overwater operations, and customs coordination.
• Experience participating in Safety Management Systems (SMS), audit preparation, or fleet standardization initiatives.
