Captain Helicopter Pilot
Description
Position Summary
The Helicopter Pilot is responsible for conducting safe and efficient VIP charter operations while supporting commercial and limited non-commercial flights throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. This position operates the Agusta AW109SP and contributes to mission planning, aircraft management, and operational safety while delivering exceptional customer service.
Schedule
• Full-Time (Freelance)
• Duty schedule based on operational requirements with flexibility where possible
• Domestic and occasional European travel
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command during VIP helicopter operations
• Conduct commercial and non-commercial charter flights in accordance with company procedures and aviation regulations
• Participate in mission planning and customer coordination
• Assist with aircraft preparation and dispatch activities
• Support aircraft management and custodian responsibilities
• Contribute to the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) and compliance initiatives
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining discretion and professionalism
Requirements
• Minimum 1,500 hours total rotary-wing flight time
• Valid Instrument Rating (IR) with IFR experience
• Ability to operate independently in a professional VIP environment
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
• Flexible regarding base location and work schedule
• Willingness to participate in company development, safety, and compliance initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
• Agusta AW109SP Type Rating (training available for the right candidate)
• Previous VIP helicopter experience
• Previous charter helicopter experience
