Description

Position Summary
The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft within a Part 91 and Part 135 private jet operation. The PIC ensures all flights are conducted in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and Jet Linx company procedures.


Responsibilities
• Manage duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company policies and CFR requirements
• Maintain communication with the company regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position reports, and pre- and post-flight reporting
• Maintain and manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications
• Ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current
• Maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Demonstrate proactive decision-making and sound judgment
• Represent Jet Linx’s core values in all interactions


Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate or ability to obtain
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Valid U.S. Passport
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License or ability to obtain
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Ability to pass FAA Pilot Records Database review
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random DOT drug and alcohol testing
• Unrestricted ability to travel throughout the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and the European Union
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• 3,500 hours Total Flight Time
• 2,000 hours Pilot-in-Command Flight Time
• 250 hours Pilot-in-Command Time in Type
• 1,000 hours Multi-Engine Flight Time
• 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC
• 1,000 hours Turbine Flight Time
• 500 hours Turbine PIC
• 300 hours Instrument Flight Time
• 1,500 hours Jet Flight Time
• 500 hours Jet PIC


Preferred Qualifications
• Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type completed within the previous 24 months
