Description

Position Summary

The Learjet 60 Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of assigned aircraft during Part 135 Charter operations. The PIC exercises final authority over assigned flights and is responsible for the safety of passengers, crew, aircraft, and cargo.


Schedule
• 8 days on / 6 days off.
• Commutable position.


Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command of the Learjet 60 during Part 135 operations.
• Maintain operational control and conduct flights in accordance with applicable regulations and operating procedures.
• Verify aircraft airworthiness and complete required flight planning, weather review, fuel planning, and weight and balance calculations.
• Conduct or oversee preflight inspections and required passenger briefings.
• Operate the aircraft within applicable limitations and operational standards.
• Complete flight records, aircraft discrepancy reports, and required post-flight documentation.
• Participate in Safety Management System activities and report safety or security concerns.
• Maintain required aircraft currency and proficiency.


Requirements
• Minimum 3,000 hours Total Time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours PIC.
• Minimum 500 hours PIC in Multi-Engine Jet Aircraft.
• Minimum 200 hours in Type.
• Must meet applicable FAR Part 135 and operator qualification requirements.
