Position Summary

The Captain serves as Pilot in Command for Part 135 flight operations, with responsibility for the safe, legal, and efficient conduct of assigned flights. The role includes command of the aircraft and crew, operational decision-making, regulatory compliance, passenger and cargo safety, and coordination with operations control.

Schedule
• Full-time.
• On-site.
• Anchorage-based position.

Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command and maintain full operational authority over assigned flights.
• Ensure the aircraft is airworthy and properly loaded before departure.
• Review weather, airport conditions, navigational aids, routing, and other operational factors before flight.
• Ensure flights are safely and legally dispatched.
• Maintain compliance with applicable FAA regulations, TSA requirements, and operating procedures.
• Supervise assigned crewmembers and ensure safe and professional flight deck operations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, crewmembers, cargo, and aircraft.
• Complete required operational forms, checklists, and flight documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with operations control regarding delays, diversions, cancellations, rerouting, or other schedule-impacting events.
• Support orderly and efficient passenger handling when ground personnel are unavailable.
• Maintain a professional flight deck environment conducive to safe and efficient operations.

Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 3,000 hours Total Time.
• Previous Part 121 or Part 135 PIC experience.
• Must meet 14 CFR Part 135.243 PIC requirements.
• Ability to successfully complete DOT-required background checks and initial and random drug screening.
• Physical ability to perform all essential job duties.

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
