Position Summary
Seeking a Pilot-in-Command (PIC) to conduct Part 135 air ambulance operations. This position is responsible for safely transporting patients, organs, and critical care teams while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, regulatory compliance, and customer service.
Schedule
• 14 Days On / 14 Days Off
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot-in-Command for domestic and international medical transport operations
• Promote a strong culture of safety and regulatory compliance
• Perform flight planning, aircraft preflight inspections, and aircraft preparation
• Execute flights in accordance with approved flight plans and ATC clearances
• Maintain aircraft manuals, navigation charts, and checklists
• Ensure compliance with FAA, ICAO, and company operating procedures
• Assist with loading and unloading baggage and supporting passenger needs
• Ensure aircraft cleanliness, commissary supplies, and catering requirements are maintained
• Attend required ground and simulator training to maintain proficiency
• Identify and report operational hazards
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
• Current Citation Excel 560 Type Rating
• Previous Pilot-in-Command experience in the Citation Excel 560
• 2,500 Multi-Engine Jet Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Hours
• 200 Actual Instrument Hours
• 250 Night Hours
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Land Rating
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Valid Passport with unrestricted international travel privileges
• Minimum two years of multi-crew flight experience
• Ability to live within 45 minutes of the Jacksonville base or relocate accordingly
