Position Summary

The Nextant 400XTi Pilot in Command is responsible for preparing and safely operating the aircraft in support of Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The position requires extensive command, multi-engine, turbine, and instrument experience while maintaining compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and established operating procedures.

Schedule
• Full-time
• Must be available for standby duty assignments and trip notifications
• Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required

Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command of the Nextant 400XTi
• Prepare for and conduct safe and efficient aircraft operations
• Manage duty, flight, and rest periods in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
• Maintain communication regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and preflight and postflight reports
• Maintain and manage Electronic Flight Bag hardware and applications
• Ensure navigation charts, publications, and operating manuals remain current
• Maintain required medical certification and operational qualifications
• Exercise strong and proactive aeronautical decision-making

Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate or ability to obtain ATP
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• FCC Restricted Radio License
• Minimum 3,500 hours Total Time
• Minimum 2,000 hours PIC
• Minimum 250 hours Time in Type
• Minimum 250 hours PIC in Type
• Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine
• Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC
• Minimum 500 hours Turbine
• Minimum 300 hours Instrument
• Must live or be willing to relocate within a two-hour callout of the Indianapolis home base
• Current passport
• Ability to obtain a U.S. driver’s license
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries
• Ability to pass an FAA Pilot Records Database review
• Ability to pass required pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Ability to frequently move up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications
• Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the previous 24 months

Compensation
• $140,000–$182,500 annual starting base salary
• Actual base salary varies based on geographic location, aircraft size, relevant education, training, and experience
