About the Company

Kiewit is a major North American construction and engineering company operating a private aviation division that supports executive and corporate travel throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico using a fleet of Learjet and Challenger aircraft.


Position Summary

The Aircraft Co-Pilot supports Part 91 corporate flight operations, assisting the Pilot-In-Command with safe, efficient, and professional transportation for executives and customers throughout North America while operating from Kiewit’s Omaha, Nebraska flight department.


Schedule

• Average of 3 days / 2 nights flying per week
• Based in Omaha, NE
• Must be able to respond within 2 hours of contact
• No relocation assistance provided


Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior preflight inspections
• Monitor fueling and aircraft servicing
• Assist PIC and maintenance personnel with aircraft preparation
• Configure navigation and cockpit systems for departure
• Obtain ATIS, clearances, and aircraft performance data
• Ensure aircraft documentation and iPad systems are current
• Secure and maintain aircraft while away from base
• Clean aircraft interior during trips


Requirements

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate
• English Proficiency Endorsement
• 1,000 Total Flight Hours
• 500 PIC Hours
• 100 Multi-Engine Hours
• Valid Aeronautical Radio Telephone License
• Ability to obtain and maintain First Class FAA Medical
• Must operate from Omaha, NE base


Preferred Qualifications

• Previous corporate aviation experience
• International operating experience
• Military aviation experience considered equivalent where applicable
