Description
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command Challenger 650 serves as the final authority for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. The position is responsible for conducting Part 91 flight operations while delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
• Ensure flight assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements
• Complete flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance requirements
• Conduct Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefings
• Comply with company SOPs and operational procedures
• Serve as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as required
• Complete all aircraft pre-flight inspections and mission readiness checks
• Monitor and coordinate fueling, oil, oxygen, and other servicing requirements
• Record and report aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company procedures
• Conduct passenger briefings in accordance with regulations and company policies
• Provide exceptional customer service and accommodate passenger needs
• Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles
• Collaborate with crew members and operational support personnel
• Maintain required training, qualifications, and regulatory compliance
• Support the company Safety Management System (SMS) and safety reporting processes
Requirements
• FAA Type Rating in Applicable Fleet
• 3,500 Hours Total Flight Time
• 2,000 Hours PIC Time
• 1,500 Hours Multi-Engine Land Time
• 500 Hours Multi-Engine PIC Time
• 500 Hours Jet Time
• 300 Hours Instrument Time
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position
Preferred Qualifications
• Corporate or Business Aviation Experience
• 4–6 Years of Aviation Experience
