About the Company

Kiewit is a major North American construction and engineering company operating a private aviation division that supports executive and corporate travel throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico using a fleet of Learjet and Challenger aircraft.


Position Summary

The Aircraft Pilot-In-Command (Captain) leads Part 91 corporate flight operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and professional executive transportation throughout North America while maintaining operational compliance and crew coordination from Kiewit’s Omaha, Nebraska flight department.


Schedule

• Average of 3 days / 2 nights flying per week
• Based in Omaha, NE
• Must be able to respond within 2 hours of contact
• No relocation assistance provided


Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot-In-Command for assigned corporate flights
• Conduct weather reviews, NOTAM analysis, and fuel planning
• Ensure aircraft weight and balance compliance
• Verify crew documentation and regulatory compliance
• Conduct passenger briefings and oversee flight safety
• Ensure compliance with customs, immigration, and cabotage laws
• Complete post-flight documentation and discrepancy reporting
• Mentor and support SIC development and crew coordination


Requirements

• ATP Certificate
• English Proficiency Endorsement
• 2,500 Total Flight Hours
• 1,000 PIC Hours
• 500 Multi-Engine Hours
• 500 hours in aircraft to be flown preferred
• Previous business aviation or airline experience required
• First Class FAA Medical
• Instrument and night currency requirements met
• Must operate from Omaha, NE base


Preferred Qualifications

• Previous corporate aviation experience
• International operating experience
• Military aviation experience considered equivalent where applicable
