Description
Position Summary
The Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Bombardier Global 8000 during domestic and international corporate flight operations. This position ensures compliance with company procedures and aviation regulations while delivering exceptional service, maintaining operational excellence, and providing leadership to the flight crew in a dynamic business aviation environment.
Schedule
• Full-Time
• Rostered schedule with allocated leave
• Domestic and international flight operations
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) during all phases of flight operations
• Ensure compliance with company operating manuals, standard operating procedures, and applicable aviation regulations
• Make all operational decisions regarding the safety and airworthiness of the aircraft before departure
• Coordinate with passengers and aircraft owners regarding operational issues or schedule changes
• Review aircraft documentation and ensure required paperwork is complete prior to departure
• Lead the flight crew while promoting effective Crew Resource Management (CRM) and a professional operating environment
• Verify passenger travel documentation prior to departure
• Conduct or delegate passenger safety briefings and cabin security checks when applicable
• Communicate flight information, weather, delays, and operational updates to passengers
• Ensure crew professionalism and uphold company standards at all times
• Report operational abnormalities, incidents, or safety events through appropriate reporting channels
• Maintain compliance with all internal policies and external regulatory requirements
Requirements
• Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
• Current Bombardier Global 8000 Type Rating
• Minimum 4,000 hours total flight time
• Minimum 2,000 hours jet flight time
• Minimum 2,000 hours multi-engine flight time
• Experience operating in conflict-affected and high-risk airspace environments
• Corporate or business aviation experience
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency
