Description
Position Summary
The Captain is responsible for the safe, comfortable, and efficient transportation of company employees and passengers aboard company-owned aircraft. This position requires strong command experience, sound operational judgment, and consistent adherence to regulatory and flight department standards.
Schedule
• Full-time.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Extended periods away from home may be required.
Responsibilities
• Serve as Captain on assigned company aircraft.
• Operate aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturer procedures, and flight department policies.
• Conduct required aircraft preflight inspections.
• Review weather conditions and complete fuel, weight, and balance calculations.
• Prepare and file appropriate flight plans.
• Monitor aircraft systems, weather conditions, and required communications during flight.
• Provide for passenger safety and comfort throughout flight operations.
• Oversee aircraft servicing and security at all stops.
• Maintain professional proficiency through required training, recurrent education, and technical study.
• Maintain the health and physical qualifications necessary for safe aircraft operation.
• Represent the organization professionally when interacting with passengers, customers, associates, and the public.
• Maintain confidentiality and respond appropriately to abnormal and emergency situations.
Requirements
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 3,500 hours Total Time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours Jet.
• Minimum 1,000 hours Multi-Engine.
• Minimum three years of related flight experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Aircraft-specific training as required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass TSA requirements for an airport security badge.
• Ability to complete required annual aircraft systems, procedures, performance, avionics, and regulatory testing.
• Must meet applicable drug and alcohol testing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
• Appropriate aircraft Type Rating.
• Falcon DA-Easy Type Rating.
• Falcon 7X Type Rating.
• Gulfstream GVII Type Rating.
• Experience with ForeFlight, Veryon (Flightdocs), Nimbl, and ARINC.
